Pokémon GO is closing out 2025 with one of its busiest event calendars yet. The new Precious Paths season brings fresh Raid bosses, powerful Mega evolutions, shiny boosts, new Pokémon debuts, Community Day classics, and a massive two-part Winter Holiday celebration. Here’s everything happening this December and what Trainers need to know.


December 2025 Raid Battles

Legendary Pokémon from the Unova region dominate December’s Five-Star Raids, while several popular Mega evolutions rotate through Mega Raids. Weekends also feature the return of Shadow Heatran.

Five-Star Raids

  • Nov 25–Dec 4: Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion
  • December 4–13: Kyurem
  • Dec 13–22: Reshiram
  • December 22–31: Zekrom

Mega Raids

  • Nov 25–Dec 4: Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Medicham, Mega Garchomp
  • December 4–13: Mega Gyarados

Each battle rotates weekly:

Paldean Tauros rotates based on region:

December Community Day (Dec 6–7)

The final Community Day of 2025 brings all featured Pokémon from the past year back into the spotlight.

Dec 7: Solosis, regional Flabébé, Pikipek, Jangmo-o, Rookidee, Quaxly

A fighting-type showcase where Clobbopus debuts in Pokémon GO.

Gigantamax Snorlax Max Battle Day (Dec 14)

From 2–5 PM:

  • Power Spots refresh more often
  • Extra Special Trades

Winter Holiday Part 1 (Dec 18–24)

Festive Pokémon return, including:

  • Sudowoodo wearing holiday attire
  • Charjabug dressed as a present

7 km Eggs

Includes festive Pichu, Smoochum, ribbon Cubchoo, Cryogonal, Snom.

Bonuses

  • Increased shiny odds for holiday Pichu & Cubchoo
